Oppo has expanded its K15 series in China with the official release of the standard K15 model. The new handset joins the previously introduced K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ and adopts a design language nearly identical to its higher-end counterparts. Its defining external trait is an active cooling fan integrated directly into the rear camera island, a feature the company says is engineered to sustain lower temperatures during extended gaming sessions.
Photography and Core Hardware
The imaging system relies on a dual rear camera array headlined by a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, supported by a 50 MP ultrawide lens. For self-portraits and video calls, a matching 50 MP front-facing sensor is housed in the display. Performance is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset, configured with 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Internal storage arrives in a single 256 GB capacity, built on the UFS 3.1 standard.
Battery, Charging, and Software
A sizable 8,000 mAh battery anchors the device, compatible with 80 W wired charging. The handset does not support wireless charging. Oppo ships the K15 with ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, although the company has not yet detailed the duration or scope of its software update commitment.
Display and Connectivity
Up front, a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel delivers 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. The connectivity suite encompasses dual-band WiFi 6, NFC, GPS, an infrared sensor, and Bluetooth 5.4. The Oppo K15 is offered in speed white and gale grey finishes and is now listed on Oppo’s official Chinese website at CNY 2,299 (roughly $340) for the sole 12 GB + 256 GB variant.
