A new leak points to an aggressive step forward in smartphone battery capacity from Oppo. The company, which already offers devices like a 7,000mAh-equipped model, is now said to be preparing a handset that dramatically surpasses that figure.
A leap to five-digit battery capacity
According to prominent leaker Digital Chat Station, an upcoming A-series device will launch as the Oppo A7 Pro Max. The standout specification is a 10,000mAh single-cell battery, which would rank as the largest pack ever fitted in an Oppo phone. The cell is tipped to support 80W fast wired charging, a combination that places it ahead of the recently unveiled Redmi Note 17 Pro, which houses a 9,000mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging.
Display, processor, and imaging details
The leak outlines several additional specifications for the A7 Pro Max. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Processing power is said to come from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 platform, which was officially introduced in May 2026. Information on RAM and storage configurations has not yet surfaced. For photography, the handset reportedly includes a 50MP front-facing camera, a 50MP main rear sensor, and a modest 2MP secondary rear lens, all housed in a body measuring 8.47mm thick and weighing 226 grams.
