Hotta Studio has confirmed that the supernatural urban RPG Neverness to Everness will receive its version 1.2 patch, titled “999 Nights,” on July 8, 2026. The update marks a major expansion for the title, bringing a substantial new map area while simultaneously launching the game on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Expanding to a new continent
The geographical and narrative core of the update is the Warren Continent, an expansive region unlocked by progressing through the main story episode “Fighting with a Dragon.” The episode transports players and their companions into a light-hearted, fantasy tabletop-style role-playing scenario orchestrated entirely by the character Mint, offering a tonal shift after the high-stakes crisis that anchored the previous patch.
Platform growth and cross-progression
With the PC debut on Steam and Epic, full cross-play and cross-progression will be active immediately. Appraisers can move an active session between mobile devices, the standalone PC client, and the PlayStation 5 while retaining all progress seamlessly.
The rollout also introduces two new S-Class characters. Shinku, a Cosmos Esper, will headline the first limited banner phase once server maintenance concludes. Hotta Studio has confirmed day-one optimizations for the character, including adjustments that let her passive abilities stack outside of combat for better open-world utility and refined target tracking on her ultimate skill. A second limited banner goes live on July 29, featuring Iroi, an S-Class Anima Esper.
Launch rewards and customization
To mark the version launch and Steam arrival, any player who creates an account and unlocks the in-game mail system before the patch cycle ends will receive a free S-Class Standard Character Selection Box. A baseline of 600 Annulith will also be distributed to all players as standard maintenance and bug fix compensation. A new outfit recoloring system arrives alongside the patch, letting players alter cosmetic palettes using newly introduced Dye Orbs. Server maintenance is scheduled from 06:00 to 11:00 UTC+8 on July 8, after which the world of Hethereau opens globally.
