Momentum has introduced its latest urban electric bike, the Vida E+ EX, positioning it as a direct update to last year’s Vida E+ while delivering a substantially lower price.

Familiar Powertrain with a New Cruise Feature

At the core of the Vida E+ EX lies the same SyncDrive Move S 500 W motor found in the previous generation, producing 60 Nm of torque and a top assisted speed of 20 mph (45 km/h). The e-bike also retains the integrated 700 Wh battery, which provides an estimated 55 miles (88.5 km) of range using pedal assist and 43 miles (69.2 km) when relying on throttle assist. What has changed is the addition of a cruise mode that holds a steady speed without continuous rider input, alongside a “0-Start” throttle that allows riders to accelerate from a standstill without pedaling—behaving similarly to a motorcycle throttle.

Component Upgrades and Accessory Support

The class 3 e-bike rides on wide 26 x 2.4-inch tires and is stopped by 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. A handlebar-mounted LCD display keeps essential ride data such as speed, battery status, and headlight indicators clearly in view. Momentum has designed the model to be compatible with a range of accessories, including fenders, a rearview mirror, pannier bags, cargo straps, and front and rear shocks, expanding its utility for daily commuters.

Pricing, Technology, and Availability

Further highlights include app-based controls, a Vida e-lock, support for 48 V 3 A fast charging, UL-2849 certification, and a torque sensor that provides responsive pedal assistance. Available in abyss black, pale olive, and caramel cinnamon colorways, the Vida E+ EX carries an official retail price of $1,985. That figure is $495 less than the last-generation Vida E+, which launched at $2,480. Interested buyers can purchase the e-bike directly through Momentum’s official website.
