Lumibricks is preparing to expand its Neon City series with a new illuminated building kit designed in the style of a Japanese manga store. According to information originally reported by steine-kanal.de, the Manga Shop set has already appeared on Amazon with an assigned ASIN, although the listing remains incomplete and the product cannot yet be ordered.
Illuminated Details and USB-C Power
The model consists of 1,699 pieces and integrates 12 LEDs to light up key street-level and interior details. Based on available descriptions, the lighting highlights vending machines, “holographic” advertising signs, storefront windows, and streetlights. While the set is expected to draw power through a USB-C connection, the current listing also mentions that batteries are required. Final power specifications should become clearer once Lumibricks fully activates the product page or provides details through its own website.
A modular, two-floor design gives builders access to an interior populated by three minifigures: a manga collector, a talented hacker, and an office worker. The removable floors allow easy viewing of the lighted interior scenes.
Part of a Connected Neon City
The Manga Shop is explicitly designed to integrate with other buildings in the Neon City collection. Lumibricks highlights compatibility with the Izakaya set, which has been sold out on Amazon Germany for some time, and notes that the kits can dock together to share a single power supply. The company has also signaled that additional models are planned for the future.
The set is listed under model number 17015-EU. Official pricing has not yet been disclosed, but a benchmark exists within the same product family: the recently launched Neon Tech Tower, a larger 2,227-piece illuminated model, is priced at $150 in the US. Given the lower piece count, the Manga Shop is expected to be considerably more affordable.
