HMD Global has introduced four new additions to its Nokia-branded feature phone lineup, bringing a touch of modern artificial intelligence to a classically simple form factor. The newly announced models—the Nokia 210 4G, Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition, Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition, and Nokia 200 4G—all share a distinct hardware feature: a dedicated button for accessing an on-device AI assistant.

An AI Companion with a Time Limit

The integrated assistant, powered by Sikey AI, is designed to handle device functions through voice commands, such as activating the flashlight, launching the camera, setting reminders and alarms, or placing calls. Users can also pose basic informational queries directly from the feature phone. However, this capability is not a permanent, free inclusion. According to the manufacturer’s product page, the AI assistant is offered on a complimentary basis for the first 180 days. After this trial period expires, continued use will require a paid subscription plan. Any subscription purchase would need to be completed through a separate device capable of processing such a transaction.

Alongside the new software feature, all four phones support cloud phone services, enabling users to stream content such as news updates, weather forecasts, sports scores, and trending videos without consuming the device’s internal storage.

Shared DNA with Subtle Hardware Distinctions

Visually, the quartet stays true to the classic Nokia design language but incorporates subtle new touches, including a metallic frame accent around the front-facing camera and the speaker grille above the display. Internally, each model runs the S30+ operating system and is powered by a 1,450 mAh battery.

While broadly similar, the devices diverge on screen size and camera specifications. The Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition and the Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition are equipped with a larger 2.8-inch IPS display at QVGA resolution and feature both a VGA front and rear camera. In contrast, the Nokia 210 4G and the Nokia 200 4G offer a more compact 2.4-inch screen with the same QVGA resolution and a single 2 MP rear camera.

Connectivity and Outlook

A standard set of utilities rounds out the offerings, including a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio support, Xpress Chat video calling capability, and a USB-C port for charging. As of this writing, HMD Global has not disclosed official pricing or regional availability details for the new portfolio.
