Ayaneo Teases Two New Handhelds Following Sell-Out Launch

Ayaneo has maintained a brisk release cadence this year, most recently with the Pocket Micro 2, which arrived at the end of June as a successor to the Pocket Micro Classic and the standard Pocket Micro. Production of the Pocket Micro 2 was extremely limited, with only 100 units manufactured, and the entire batch sold out almost immediately.

A New Chapter for the Windows Line

The company has now turned its attention to upcoming projects during a recent Product Sharing Session. Published across both Chinese and Western social media platforms, the three-hour-long video offered updates on recent handheld releases while also teasing what appear to be two distinct new devices. Ayaneo confirmed that its primary Windows-based handheld series “is finally back.” According to the presentation, this forthcoming model will succeed a “small-sized handheld console,” signaling that it is unlikely to be positioned as a direct replacement for the Ayaneo 3.

A Nostalgic Konkr-Branded Device

In addition to refreshing its Windows lineup, Ayaneo hinted that another handheld under its Konkr brand is in development. The company has not yet disclosed specific details about this device, but it indicated that the design will draw inspiration from the “soul of classic handhelds,” suggesting a form factor or experience rooted in retro gaming heritage. Ayaneo has yet to announce release dates, pricing, or detailed specifications for either mystery handheld.
