AOC has introduced a pair of 34-inch ultrawide displays aimed at gamers and professionals who share a single workspace. The CU34G4CA and CU34G4ZCA both pair an expansive 3440x1440 (WQHD) resolution with a 1500R curved VA panel in a 21:9 format, carrying DisplayHDR 400 certification and Adaptive-Sync support. A USB-C port with 90 W Power Delivery allows users to drive the display and charge a connected laptop over one cable.
Core specifications and shared features
Both monitors are built on an identical foundation beyond their speed and video inputs. Each is equipped with one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A ports, and a two-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub, alongside an integrated KVM switch that lets users control two systems with a single keyboard and mouse. Ergonomics are covered by height, tilt, and swivel adjustment, while Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue Mode are included. The displays are also compatible with AOC’s G-Menu software for on-screen settings management.
Where the two models diverge
The key distinction lies in refresh rate and HDMI connectivity. The CU34G4CA operates at 180 Hz, while the CU34G4ZCA raises the ceiling to 240 Hz and can be overclocked to 250 Hz. For console and PC gamers who require more bandwidth, the CU34G4ZCA substitutes two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports in place of the two HDMI 2.0 ports found on the 180 Hz model, delivering smoother motion clarity and reduced input lag at high frame rates. This difference positions the faster variant as the more compelling choice for competitive gaming scenarios.
Pricing and regional rollout
AOC has confirmed that both monitors will reach the United Kingdom in August. The CU34G4CA will be priced at £289.99, and the CU34G4ZCA at £329.99. A European launch is planned for roughly the same window, though the company has not yet detailed availability for North America or other markets. The combination of high-refresh ultrawide panels, USB-C charging, and built-in KVM functionality places these models in a segment where gaming performance and desk-flexibility increasingly overlap.
