AOC Q27G4ZDB: New Fast QD-OLED Monitor with Ergonomic Arm

AOC has introduced a new 27-inch monitor to its lineup. The Q27G4ZDB is released soon after the U27G40E and Agon Pro AG276FK models. This new monitor shares some ideas with the Agon Pro AG276QZD2, which is currently available for $399.99 on Amazon and launched last October.

Specifications and Features

The Q27G4ZDB features a QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display. Unlike the recent Gigabyte MO27Q2, it does not use a 360 Hz QD-OLED panel like other monitors launched earlier this year. Instead, this model offers a 1440p resolution paired with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, along with impressive 0.03 ms GtG response times and support for Adaptive-Sync.

Color and Brightness

This monitor also delivers 98% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space and can reach a peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits (APL 3%). However, it’s worth noting that the overall brightness drops to 450 nits when HDR content is displayed, and to just 250 nits in SDR mode. Additionally, the Q27G4ZDB holds VESA ClearMR 13000 and DisplayHDR 400 True Black certifications.

Design and Connectivity

AOC has designed an ergonomic arm for the Q27G4ZDB, allowing for swivel, tilt, and pivot adjustments, with a height adjustment of up to 320 mm. Unfortunately, it only includes a single DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5 mm jack for connections. As of now, AOC has not revealed the price or release date for the Q27G4ZDB outside of China.
