AOC has introduced the AGON GAMING 24G4XE monitor to both the UK and EU markets. This new release is budget-friendly and is one of the most affordable options in the G4 series of gaming monitors. Despite its lower price, it offers a respectable range of features, including a 180Hz refresh rate.
Features and Specifications
In addition to the 24G4XE, AOC also offers the larger 27G4XE model. The 24G4XE builds on the earlier 24G4X model, which was launched earlier this year. This latest version features a fast IPS panel measuring 23.8 inches. It boasts a 1080p resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and a 180Hz refresh rate. Other specifications include a GtG response time of 1 ms, a peak brightness of 300 nits, and a static contrast ratio of 1000:1.
Design and Connectivity
The AGON GAMING 24G4XE is designed with a different stand compared to its predecessor. According to AOC, the new stand is no-frills, allowing for tilt adjustments but lacking pivot, swivel, and height adjustments. The monitor supports Adaptive Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC technologies. For connectivity, it includes one DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports.
Pricing & Availability
The 24G4XE is priced more affordably than its previous model, costing £139.99 ($178) in the UK and €179 ($195) in the Eurozone. The package also includes a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount for external stands. The AOC AGON GAMING 24G4XE will be available for purchase by the end of May 2024. There is currently no information on global availability for this monitor.
