Anticipate the Arrival of the Magic 6 Porsche Edition as Honor Collaborates with Porsche Design

Honor’s New Partnership with Porsche Design

Honor, the popular smartphone brand, has officially announced a partnership with the renowned design house Porsche Design. The announcement was made through a poster shared on Honor’s Weibo handle, China’s popular social media platform.

The poster prominently features the logos of both Honor and Porsche Design, accompanied by the slogan “Born to be Pioneers.” In addition, Honor shared a message that translates to: “When Honor’s innovative technology meets Porsche’s classic design, it will be a collision #bornforpioneers. We look forward to writing new legends and creating new classics together.”

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Porsche Design, which had previously collaborated with Huawei for several years. Porsche Design’s signature aesthetic was featured in Huawei’s premium devices, ranging from the Mate 9 series to the Mate 50 flagships. However, Huawei’s recent shift towards its “Ultimate Design” philosophy led to the conclusion of their partnership earlier this year.

Now, Honor has taken over the reins and will be working closely with Porsche Design. There are rumors circulating that the upcoming Magic 6 series from Honor will be the first devices to showcase the Porsche Design influence. Additionally, leaks suggest that the highly anticipated Magic V3 foldable smartphone might also follow suit.

Speaking of the Magic 6 series, it is expected to be launched in early next year. Rumors indicate that there will be three models in the lineup, although the exact names of these devices have not been revealed yet. Following past naming conventions, they might be called the Honor Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, and Magic 6 Ultimate.

Furthermore, there are speculations about a special Porsche Design edition based on the Ultimate model being in the works. All three models are expected to feature a quad-curved display with a dual punch-hole camera cutout in the center. The Pro and standard models might have a circular camera island, while the Ultimate model could sport a more sophisticated square design.

As of now, we are eagerly awaiting more details about these smartphones. Rest assured, we will keep you updated on any new developments regarding the Honor-Porsche Design partnership and the upcoming Magic 6 series.
