Lava Set to Launch Yuva 3 Smartphone in India
Lava, the Indian smartphone brand, is preparing to introduce a new device to the Indian market. Following the release of the Yuva 3 Pro, the company is now working on the base model, known as the Yuva 3. An online listing has provided a glimpse into the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
Storage Details and Features
The microsite on Amazon has recently gone live, teasing the launch of the Lava Yuva 3 model. The online listing also reveals some key storage specifications of the device. The Yuva 3 will come equipped with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is claimed to offer 3x faster speeds compared to eMMC storage technology.
Additionally, the microsite confirms that the smartphone will be available in a 64GB storage configuration, with support for up to 512GB of expandable memory through a microSD card slot.
A Budget-Friendly Option
While finer details about the Yuva 3, such as its specifications and pricing, remain unclear, it is expected to be a more affordable version of the previously launched Yuva 3 Pro. The Yuva 3 Pro, a budget-grade handset, features the UNISOC T616 SoC, a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear, and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. It was launched with a starting price of 8,999 INR.
Based on this information, it is anticipated that the vanilla Yuva 3 will be priced around the 6,999 INR range, targeting the Indian budget phone segment.
