Reports indicate that Zepp Health is launching a new update for the T-Rex 3 smartwatch. A user named u/DanilaoIT shared a screenshot of software version 3.3.6.1 on Reddit recently. So far, Zepp Health hasn't made an official announcement regarding this update.
New Features Added
The change log for version 3.3.6.1 highlights the addition of a new workout mode, Ski mountaineering, which has just been included in the Cheetah Pro. Additionally, Zepp has introduced a highly requested feature called Tap-to-Wake. This feature allows users to simply tap the screen to wake it up, rather than having to press a button or move their wrist. You can enable this from System Settings > Display > Tap to Wake > Single Tap/Double Tap. There are also enhancements in the accuracy of the sleep tracking algorithm and optimizations for both Padel and Track Run activities.
Update Size and Availability
This update for T-Rex 3 seems to be 17.34B in size, and it might offer more features and enhancements beyond those mentioned. A user from Italy reported on the release; however, it's not clear which other countries are receiving the update or when version 3.3.6.1 will be available to all Amazfit T-Rex 3 users, which is currently priced at $234.99 on Amazon.
