The Amazfit Balance 2 XT has just gotten its first firmware update for 2026. The new version, 2.16.0.1, comes roughly two months after the previous update, which was version 2.14.0.1. This latest update introduces new always-on display (AOD) watch faces and enhances GPS performance.

The update, known in the Zepp Health Discord as the Amazfit Balance 2 XT OTA 4 release, includes a variety of exciting new features. Among these are two additional workout modes: Rucking and Mountain Hiking. There are also two new tools for monitoring BioCharge energy: a 24-hour BioCharge trend and a Morning BioCharge card.

Improvements and Controls

Additionally, the Amazfit Balance 2 XT now features a new Silent icon within its Control Center. Users can also take screenshots by pressing the crown and the lower button at the same time. These screenshots will automatically save to the connected smartphone. Furthermore, optimizations have been made for Activity reminders, the Weather data source, and map icons.
