Key Features of Predator X27U X1

The Predator X27U X1 comes equipped with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED screen that has a WQHD 2K resolution of 2560×1440, providing a pixel density of 110 PPI for sharp and clear images. It has a native refresh rate of 240Hz, which allows for extremely smooth gameplay, particularly in high-speed FPS games. With an impressive 0.03ms GTG response time, the monitor effectively reduces motion blur and offers precise, lag-free gaming experiences.

Advanced Gaming Technology

Additionally, the Predator X27U X1 supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. This feature aligns the refresh rate of the monitor with the graphics card’s output, which helps to prevent screen tearing and stuttering, leading to a smooth visual experience.

When it comes to color performance, the monitor covers a 99% DCI-P3 wide color gamut and provides a 10-bit color depth, which results in rich, accurate, and vibrant colors with a range of over 1.07 billion shades. It is also HDR True Black 400 certified, offering deep blacks, high contrast, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits for immersive and detailed visuals.

Connectivity and Design

In terms of connectivity, the monitor is equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports, making it compatible with the latest gaming consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X, allowing for 4K or 1080p gaming at rates up to 120Hz. It also has a DP1.4 port and an audio-out jack for added convenience.

The Predator X27U X1 features an ergonomically designed stand that allows for height adjustments and includes tilt and swivel options for added comfort during extended gaming periods. Additionally, it is equipped with 5W dual speakers and incorporates eye-care features such as flicker-free performance and low blue light settings to minimize eye strain during long sessions. The overall design of the X27U X1 is sleek and gamer-focused, featuring a claw-shaped base, a headphone hook, and efficient cable management.

Earlier today, Acer also launched the PE320QK X, a 32-inch OLED monitor that boasts Calman certification for professional use. Meanwhile, Skyworth debuted a 31.5-inch OLED gaming monitor that offers 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, in addition to a Full HD mode that can support up to 480Hz.
