The Band 9 Pro keeps the same 1.74-inch rectangular screen as the previous model. And, not surprisingly, it features the same 60Hz AMOLED display. However, Xiaomi has increased the peak brightness to a notable 1200 nits in this version. The Band 9 Pro comes with an aluminum casing offered in black, gold, or pink. It is water-resistant up to 5 ATM, making it safe to wear while swimming. Additionally, it weighs only 24.5 grams and is a slim 10.8 millimeters thick.
Depending on your choice, Xiaomi provides a sporty or a leather band, with a stylish Milanese loop available for separate purchase for those who want a bit of class. The battery life is where the biggest improvement is seen in this new smart band. Xiaomi asserts that the device can now last up to 21 days on a single charge.
### Features and Capabilities
Xiaomi continues to excel in features with this new model. It includes over 150 sports modes and has a built-in GPS, so users can track their runs and bike rides without needing their smartphones. Sleep tracking is claimed to be more accurate this time, and heart rate monitoring is said to have improved too. Completing the feature set is an NFC chip, enabling users to make contactless payments directly from the band.
### Pricing and Market Availability
Currently, the Smart Band 9 Pro is only available in China, with prices starting at 399 yuan (about €52) for the sports band and 449 yuan (around €58) for the leather version. The standard Xiaomi Smart Band 9 is already on sale in some areas for approximately €33, but details regarding the international release of the Pro model are still not disclosed.
