Several reports have indicated that the Redmi K70 Ultra, powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, is set to launch in China this month (July). Today, Xiaomi officially announced that its new foldable phones, the Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip, will also be released this month. It seems these devices will be unveiled at the same event later this month.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Mix Flip July Launch Confirmed
Xiaomi’s Weibo post today confirmed that its new factory has started full-scale production. This cutting-edge, fully digitalized smart factory achieves 100% automation of key processes through extensive in-house research and development of manufacturing equipment. By creating a leading "full-chain industrial big data" system, the factory ensures 100% digitalization of industrial production. This new facility will produce the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip foldable phones.
Specifications and Features
Reports suggest that both the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Mix Flip will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Notably, the Mix Flip will be Xiaomi’s first flip-style foldable phone.
Recent leaks have revealed that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will be available in four configurations: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It is expected to include a 4-inch outer display and a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 60-megapixel (2x telephoto) secondary sensor, both featuring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The device is also anticipated to support 67W fast charging.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 Leaked Image
For the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, a leaked image by Evan Blass shows it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 60-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The Mix Fold 4 will have a battery capacity exceeding 5,000mAh and will support 67W fast charging and wireless charging.
