The S400 Pro introduces an ITO-coated tempered glass surface, replacing the conventional electrode sheet design, which extends the weight-measurable area to nearly the entire scale. For context, ITO-coated tempered glass is commonly found in liquid crystal displays, solar cells, and optoelectronics, among other applications.
The scale has fewer restrictions regarding foot placement and accommodates up to a European size 48.
One of the notable improvements in the S400 Pro over the Mijia Body Fat Scale S400 is the inclusion of a 3.5″ color screen. Xiaomi claims that this screen offers superior brightness and contrast compared to traditional LED displays. Additionally, the screen provides guidance for users to stand correctly.
