Xiaomi has introduced a new magnetic power bank in China. The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh 7.5W is currently being sold through Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, and other online channels. This power bank employs magnetic safe charging technology with a 10N magnetic suction force. Thanks to its automatic induction technology, there’s no need to press a button to wirelessly charge an iPhone. It offers precise absorption and is specifically designed for iPhone models from the iPhone 12 and newer.
Features
The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh comes with automatic wireless charging sensing, allowing it to charge the connected device with just one suction. It includes USB-C two-way fast charging and has a slim profile, being only 12mm thick. This design ensures that it doesn’t block the iPhone lens while charging, allowing the smartphone to be used during the process. As its name suggests, this magnetic power bank has a power capacity of 7.5W and can provide a maximum wired charging speed of 18W. Its maximum input power is 20W, and it can be fully charged in 2.2 hours.
When using both wired and wireless charging, the power bank delivers a charging speed of 10W for both outlets. During self-charging, the Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh 7.5W supports only wireless charging. According to Xiaomi, the power bank can fully recharge an iPhone 15 just once, making it a useful backup battery for the smartphone. The device features two NTC thermistors that work with built-in software to create a temperature control system, actively adjusting the power output as the temperature changes.

The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh 7.5W is priced at 129 yuan ($18). Currently, it is only available in China, but it may become available in other markets in the future.
