Xiaomi Human Sensor Pro Launched with 12-Zone Feature for $49

Xiaomi is set to launch a crowdfunding effort for the Xiaomi Human Sensor Pro, which will run from August 21 to 28 on Xiaomi Youpin. This new device is an enhanced version of the initial human sensor Xiaomi introduced in May 2024.

The Xiaomi Human Sensor Pro features a larger size and a new design compared to its predecessor. Unlike the original model, this updated sensor requires an external power source, making its installation a bit more complex. It includes a power cord and adapter for this purpose.

Enhanced Features

The new Xiaomi human sensor offers several options for use, boasting significant improvements over the earlier model. It is equipped with a high-performance 24GHz millimeter-wave radar, which can track human movement in real-time within a room. The device is capable of activating a smart scene when a person enters a specified area.

The standard version of the Xiaomi Human Sensor has a battery life of three years, with a crowdfunding price set at 119 yuan ($). The upgraded sensor allows for the demarcation of up to 12 zones without any interference. It has a detection angle of 110 degrees and can track movement up to 7 meters, as well as detect static human presence up to 4 meters. It can monitor up to three objects simultaneously.

Advanced Technology

This advanced sensor includes hidden infrared sensors and a high-performance radar capable of transmitting four signals simultaneously. Users can customize the operation of the Xiaomi Human Sensor Pro to suit their personal preferences.

The crowdfunding price for the Human Sensor Pro is set at 349 yuan ($49) and is available until August 28. The sensor’s regular price is 399 yuan ($56), and it may be introduced to international markets in the future.
