The latest Xiaomi electric scooters have been making waves online for a few months now, appearing on the TDRA website. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 series is expected to be released soon, and a recent leak has disclosed the specifications and pricing for three models, along with an additional variant.
Model Details
According to the enthusiast forum escooter-treff, which cites Finnish retailer “Sahkopotkulaudat”, Xiaomi plans to unveil the Electric Scooter 5, Electric Scooter Pro, and Electric Scooter 5 Max. Additionally, there is a new model called the Electric Scooter Elite that has been mentioned for the first time.
Specifications Breakdown
Each of the Electric Scooter 5 models boasts similar specifications: a maximum speed of 25 KM/h, a range of 60 KM, a battery capacity of 477Wh, a load capacity of 120 kg, and 10×2.5″ tubeless tires. However, the basic Scooter 5 has a power rating of 350 W, whereas both the Scooter 5 Pro and Scooter 5 Max provide 400 W. Notably, the latter two models are equipped with front and rear suspension, while the standard Scooter 5 is limited to just a front suspension.
Pricing and Launch Dates
The Electric Scooter Elite also shares the same top speed of 25 KM/h, 120 KG load capacity, and 10×2.5″ tubeless tires, but its range is only 45 KM due to a smaller 360 Wh battery. This configuration makes it the most affordable option, priced at €419. In contrast, the Scooter 5, Scooter 5 Pro, and Scooter 5 Max are priced at €469, €599, and €699 respectively. All four models are expected to launch in Spring, likely around March or April.
