Xiaomi Auto is seeing impressive progress with the deliveries of their SU7 electric SUV. Following a milestone of over 10,000 units delivered in June, they aim to sustain this pace through July. This marks a significant increase from previous months, with 8,630 units delivered in May and 7,058 in April.
Ambitious Goals for 2024
The company has set a goal to deliver a total of 100,000 EVs in 2024. This escalation in production is in line with Xiaomi’s earlier decision to implement double-shift production starting in June to meet a monthly delivery target of 10,000 units. Their ambitious long-term goal for 2024 aims to deliver 100,000 SU7s, with an aspirational target of 120,000 units. Although these figures may not seem extremely high, they are quite impressive for the SU7, Xiaomi’s initial venture into the EV market, which is still relatively new.
Customer Care Campaign
To address customer wait times, Xiaomi Auto introduced the “Lock Order and Wait for User Care” campaign on June 28th. This initiative provides gifts to users who have waited more than 3 months for their SU7, serving as a form of compensation.
