Xiaomi is getting ready to unveil the Xiaomi 15 series in China, marking its latest flagship smartphones. This high-end collection is set to be released on 29th October 2024. However, even before the official announcement, it looks like the devices have gained significant attention, with pre-orders exceeding those of the previous model.
Pre-Orders for the Xiaomi 15 Series Surpass Xiaomi 14
The renowned Chinese tech company is preparing to launch its new smartphones in just three days, which will coincide with the release of the Xiaomi Pad 7 series and the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro. Recently, pre-orders for the Xiaomi 15 smartphones started, and it seems they have already broken the record set by last year’s Xiaomi 14 series. This information comes from a former product manager of Xiaomi’s Civi and the new Redmi Product Manager, suggesting that the newer models are resonating more with consumers.
Features of the Xiaomi 15 Pro
This indicates that the new flagship could be a major success in China. For context, the series comprises the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, while the high-end Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to launch later. Both models are powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, promising notable enhancements in performance compared to their predecessors. Additionally, these new smartphones will operate on the brand’s Android 15 OS, featuring the customized HyperOS 2.0 skin right from the start.
Recently, the company released a teaser showcasing the design of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. Just a day ago, other important specifications and features were also confirmed. The Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 2K AMOLED display that boasts a peak brightness greater than that of earlier models. Inside, it will be fueled by a large 6,100mAh battery.
