This information could be disheartening for fans eagerly awaiting Xiaomi's flagship models. The leaker claims that the device, identified by the model number 24129PN74C, is set to be the successor to the standard Xiaomi 14. This new revelation contradicts previous leaks that indicated the Xiaomi 15 would finally see an upgrade in its wired charging capabilities in 2024.
Battery and Charging Specifications
Additionally, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to have enhancements in battery size, but given this new information, it may not offer faster charging speeds. In a separate, more enigmatic post on Weibo, Digital Chat Station mentioned a dual-cell battery with a capacity of 2,980mAh, which totals a rated capacity of 5,960mAh and a typical capacity of 6,100mAh.
The mention of a "120W" charging speed, similar to that of the 14 Pro (currently priced at $769.50 on Amazon), suggests that this tip may actually pertain to the Pro version of the Xiaomi 15.
