The Xiaomi 15 comes with a 5400mAh battery (which is lower than the previously speculated 5,500mAh), 90W fast charging, measures 8.1mm thick, and weighs 191g. This is an improvement over the Xiaomi 14's 4610mAh battery, while it is still thinner and only 3g heavier.
Display and Design Features
The phone is confirmed to feature a 6.36-inch flat AMOLED display with extremely narrow bezels (1.38mm) and a 120Hz refresh rate, which ensures a smoother visual experience. Moreover, Xiaomi highlights a balanced design for enhanced ergonomics. The display can reach a peak brightness of 3200 nits.
Power of the Pro Model
In comparison, the Pro model is confirmed to have a substantial 6100mAh battery, with the same charging speed, thickness of 8.35mm, and weighing 213g. Despite its larger battery, the design stays relatively compact, showcasing Xiaomi’s advancements in technology.
The two models also show differences in their looks and camera configurations. The Xiaomi 15 is equipped with a 3.2x telephoto lens, whereas the Pro version features a 5x periscope lens. Furthermore, the Pro's display and camera area are adorned with quad-curved glass, which gives it a more premium texture compared to the flat design of the basic version. When compared, the Realme GT 7 Pro is said to include a huge 6500mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, but it weighs a little more at 224g and is 8.5mm thick.
All these devices run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is Qualcomm’s newest flagship SoC. Built using a 3nm process, it provides significant improvements in performance and efficiency—45% and 44%, respectively, when compared to its predecessor.
