Xiaomi has been quite active this past week concerning the Xiaomi 15 series, even though it has not given out any detailed information about its upcoming flagship devices just yet. To summarize, the company announced at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit that the Xiaomi 15 series will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
Reservations Opened
After this announcement, Xiaomi started taking reservations for the series in China, but they haven’t disclosed complete pricing or a launch date. Nonetheless, it appears that the launch date might now be revealed, if the latest reports are to be believed.
Official Poster Surfaces
An official-looking poster has appeared online, shared by sources like SmartPrix and Xiaomi Time, which refer to the Xiaomi Community App as the origin. From the image in the poster, it seems that the Xiaomi 15 is set to launch on October 29 at 11:00 UTC (19:00 CST).
Event Details
Additionally, Xiaomi's 'see every light' event is also expected to introduce HyperOS 2.0, which will likely be pre-loaded on the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro upon release. Sadly, we currently cannot locate the original image within the Xiaomi Community App. Therefore, it is still uncertain whether this information is correct or just an elaborate hoax.
