Wyze has revealed an innovative doorbell camera featuring not just one, but two cameras. The Wyze Duo Cam Doorbell offers distinct perspectives to ensure complete coverage of your entryway. Its upper camera, equipped with facial recognition, zooms in on individuals, while the lower camera is angled downward to monitor your packages.
Smart Alerts for Your Doorstep
The primary camera sends notifications whenever someone arrives at your door, using facial recognition to identify them. Meanwhile, the second camera is designed for package detection, alerting you when a package is left at your doorstep.
In addition to these features, Wyze mentions that the Duo Cam Doorbell includes pet detection and vehicle detection capabilities. This means you can also watch delivery drivers as they park in front of your house to drop off your packages. The device is equipped with two-way audio, which allows you to communicate with visitors or delivery personnel.
Impressive Specifications
The upper camera boasts a 2K resolution with a 132 x 100° field of view, while the lower camera offers a 1080p resolution and a 121 x 60° field of view. Both cameras support color night vision and come with a microSD card slot for local storage, accommodating up to 256GB. Additionally, the doorbell includes support for Wyze's Wi-Fi Chime, which is provided in the package, enabling you to hear alerts from anywhere in your home.
The installation of the Duo Cam Doorbell is quite straightforward. There’s no requirement for hard-wiring, as it comes with a removable battery pack, though you can opt for a wired connection if you prefer. You can install it using screws or stick it to your door with the 3M adhesive strips included. A 30° corner kit is also part of the package.

This device has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, while the 6,200mAh battery can last up to six months on a single charge. Its siren reaches 90dB, and it comes with a motion warning feature to inform guests that they are being recorded.
