Vivo's upcoming S19 series smartphones were recently teased through its official Weibo account. Additionally, Vivo’s Vice President Jia Jingdong confirmed the camera capabilities of the S19 Pro in a social media post. The brand has now officially scheduled the launch of these new devices in China for May 30.
Display and Performance
Reports suggest that the Vivo V19 Pro might feature a 6.78-inch curved-OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. It is expected to be powered by a Dimensity 9200+ SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
Camera Specifications
For the camera setup, the device is likely to utilize a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS support, a 50MP Sony telephoto camera with 50× digital zoom support, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera will probably be a 50MP selfie shooter.
Battery and Charging
The device has received 3C certification confirming its 80W fast charging capabilities. Although the battery size is not confirmed, it is anticipated to feature a 5,000mAh unit.
Details about the standard S19 model are limited. However, a recent Geekbench listing indicates it will feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor paired with 16GB of RAM.
