TP-LINK has recently unveiled its latest outdoor security camera, the TL-IPC679V-A4, featuring an innovative triple-camera design for enhanced surveillance. This new model merges a high-resolution 4-megapixel fixed binocular camera with a 3-megapixel PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera. The binocular camera provides a broad field of view and stitches images together to produce a panoramic 32:10 image with a remarkable resolution of 3488 x 1088 pixels.
Unique Triple-Camera System
The PTZ camera enhances functionality by automatically tracking intruders or vehicles, offering close-up views for identification purposes. This PTZ capability allows for almost 285 degrees of horizontal rotation and vertical rotation from slightly downward to nearly straight up. Installation is straightforward, thanks to an upgraded adjustable bracket that permits tilting the camera at five specific angles and making 360-degree horizontal adjustments, ensuring an optimal viewing angle.
Night Vision and Communication
Equipped with high-power infrared LED lights, the camera ensures clear visibility at night. It also features warm light illumination and offers three different night vision modes: infrared, full color, and a special humanoid detection full color mode. Additionally, the TL-IPC679V-A4 includes a built-in two-way voice intercom function, allowing for two-way communication.
Durability and Smart Features
Designed to endure harsh weather conditions, the camera has an IP66 dustproof and waterproof rating, making it a dependable option for outdoor security. Smart features of the camera include intelligent motion detection, the ability to detect objects crossing designated borders within the camera’s view, automatic recording, and alarm notifications.
For storage flexibility, the TP-Link camera supports local storage via microSD card (up to 512GB), cloud storage, and NVR storage.
