TCL's brand Ffalcon has launched a new QD-MiniLED office monitor called the Thunderbird U6 in China. The monitor is priced at 1,499 yuan ($204) and is currently available for purchase through JD.com. Let’s take a closer look at its main features.
Specifications of the Ffalcon Thunderbird U6
This monitor boasts a 27-inch display with an impressive 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160) and a refresh rate of 60Hz, providing clear and immersive visuals. It utilizes Quantum Dot (QD) technology to cover a broad color gamut, achieving 98% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB color coverage, which results in vibrant and realistic colors. Moreover, it has PANTONE Validation along with a Delta E color accuracy of less than 2, which is ideal for designers and creative individuals.
Advanced Display Technology
The device is equipped with MiniLED backlighting featuring 180 local dimming zones, which boosts brightness and contrast, resulting in deeper blacks and brighter whites. The display achieves a peak brightness of 600 nits, certified by DisplayHDR 600, and offers a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 for stunning visual effects. Additionally, it includes Demura pixel-level calibration to maintain uniform brightness and consistent colors throughout the screen.
Comfort and Connectivity
For user comfort, the monitor has TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, which lessens eye strain during prolonged use. It also incorporates flicker-free 10KHz PWM dimming for a more pleasant viewing experience.
The Thunderbird U6 provides a wide range of connectivity options, including 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, 1 USB Type-C with 65W power delivery, 2 USB-A ports, 1 USB-B upstream port, and a headphone jack. The Type-C port supports high-speed data transfers and reverse charging, making it versatile for various modern tasks.

The monitor features an ergonomic stand that allows for tilt adjustments (-5° to 15°), height adjustments (up to 125mm), horizontal swivel (±20°), and vertical rotation (-90° to +90°), enabling users to find their perfect viewing position. Audio and Calibration
In addition to its visual capabilities, it includes dual 3W speakers for clear audio during meetings and multimedia playback. Each monitor is factory-calibrated to ensure excellent performance and accuracy right from the start.
Recently, TCL also launched the TCL C11K Lingxi QD-Mini LED TV, which offers 3000 nits brightness, a 288Hz refresh rate, and advanced AI features. Also introduced were the T6L 4K QD-Mini LED TVs, featuring Fuxi AI, a 288Hz refresh rate, and XDR brightness of 1300 nits.
