    Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Book 14/16 2024 laptops in November last year in its domestic market. The initial version (16GB RAM + 512GB storage) was priced at 4399 Yuan ($621), while the downgraded version (with i5-12450H) retailed for 3,399 yuan ($475) at launch.

    Price Reduction for the 12th Gen i5 Model

    Currently, JD.com is offering the 12th-generation model of the Redmi Book 16 2024 at 3,036 yuan (~$422). Additionally, members can avail an extra 7.59 yuan discount, along with support for double compensation for overpriced purchases.

    The display features a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (16:10) and supports a refresh rate of 60Hz. It can achieve a peak brightness of 300 nits, covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut, and supports both DC dimming and Dolby Vision.

    Performance and Specifications

    Powered by the 12th generation Intel Core i5-12450H processor, the laptop boasts 8 cores and 12 threads, with a maximum turbo frequency of 4.4GHz for the performance core.
