    Xiaomi has broadened its Mijia series refrigerator lineup by introducing the new Mijia Refrigerator Moyuyan Edition, which translates to ‘Black Feather Rock’, in China. This fresh model boasts a sizable 513 L capacity, which is organized into three distinct sections. These include a 304 L cooling area, a 180 L freezing space, and a 29 L adjustable temperature zone.

    Storage Features

    The refrigerator comes equipped with several drawers and trays, along with extra storage space on the doors, perfect for placing drinks, vegetables, fruits, and other food items. Additionally, there’s a unique 29 L drawer that allows you to set the temperature between -1 °C (~30.2 °F) and 5 °C (41 °F). This feature means you can conveniently keep various food items like meat, seafood, and fresh veggies at their ideal temperatures.

    Advanced Technology

    Xiaomi has incorporated its own dual-frequency conversion technology into this cross-door refrigerator. As per the company’s claims, this innovation enables the appliance to provide precise cooling while also conserving energy. It is rated with top-notch energy efficiency, averaging a consumption of 0.93 kWh of power daily.

    The appliance operates at a quiet 36 dB, and Xiaomi has also integrated silver-ion antibacterial technology. This technology reportedly eliminates 99.9% of bacteria, ensuring the safety and quality of your food. You can modify the settings of the Mijia Moyuyan Edition refrigerator via a built-in touchscreen, the Mijia app, or even through Xiao AI voice commands.

    Pricing and Availability

    The Mijia Refrigerator Moyuyan Edition with a 513 L capacity is priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately $370) and is available in a Lead Gray color with a rock board texture. It’s currently up for pre-order on JD.com in China, with official sales set to begin on January 1, 2025, at 8 PM.

On JD.com, customers can avail additional discounts, reducing the price to 2,995.8 Yuan. The site offers an exchange program for old items, with a subsidy of 200 Yuan.

    Features of the Mijia French Door Refrigerator 439L

    The refrigerator boasts a sophisticated design in white. As depicted in the image, it features French-style drawers that facilitate easy access to stored items. These drawers are crafted to ensure a seamless push-and-pull experience and have a high weight capacity. Notably, the design minimizes gaps between drawers, preventing dust accumulation.

    The appliance stands 1912mm tall, is 752mm wide, and has a depth of 600mm. Its compressor operates at a level 1 power consumption of 0.78kW.h/24h, with a freezing capacity of 7kg/12h and a noise level of 34dB(A), making it virtually silent unless you’re very close. It employs a 360° air cooling cycle and supports dual frequency conversion (variable frequency compressor and fan). Xiaomi offers a 10-year warranty for the compressor.

    Storage and Additional Features

    The refrigerator offers a storage volume of 260L, a freezer space of 154L, and an extra 25L variable temperature chamber, totaling 439L in capacity. It supports the Mijia app for remote control, includes separate dry and wet storage compartments, and features a built-in silver ion antibacterial and odor-removing module to eliminate odors.

    In June, the company also released another 439L model named the MIJIA Fresh Storage 439L Cross Ice Crystal White Refrigerator.

    Xiaomi has introduced the MIJIA Fresh Storage 439L Cross Ice Crystal White Refrigerator in China, with pre-sales commencing on June 24 at a discounted launch price.

    Features

    The MIJIA Fresh Storage Ice Crystal refrigerator features a 3.2mm ice crystal white artistic glass panel that is easy to clean, wear-resistant, and oil-resistant. Boasting an ultra-thin flush-embedded design, it includes a front-bottom heat dissipation system for seamless operation and a body thickness of 60cm. The refrigerator has a cross-door partition design with 18 compartments and a total storage capacity of 439 liters. Specifically, the refrigerator section holds 260L, the freezer holds 154L, and the dry goods and precious mother and baby space compartments hold 25L.

    The new MIJIA fresh storage refrigerator employs 360-degree air cooling circulation technology, ensuring quick and even cooling without the need for defrosting. It has a freezing capacity of 7kg/12h and uses a variable-frequency compressor paired with a variable-frequency fan. The compressor is backed by a 10-year warranty. The refrigerator weighs 86kg and measures 825 x 680 x 2,030mm (width x depth x height). It is compatible with the MIJIA app for product control and supports XiaoAi voice commands.

    Pricing & Availability

    The Xiaomi MIJIA Refrigerator Fresh Storage Cross 439L Ice Crystal White is initially priced at 3,999 yuan ($551). However, it will be available at a launch price of 3,499 yuan ($482) starting from June 24.
