Xiaomi is set to unveil the 165W Power Bank 10000 (Integrated Cable) globally this month. This accessory first launched in China in September, and there are hints that it might soon be available in other countries.
Upcoming Launch Event
The Xiaomi 165W Power Bank has been linked to an event for the Redmi Note 14 smartphone series, scheduled for January 10th. According to a page on the brand’s international website, this portable charger will likely be showcased at the event along with the Redmi Buds 6 Pro and the Redmi Watch 5.
Impressive Specifications
As the name indicates, the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank features a 10,000mAh capacity, which can recharge an iPhone 15 Pro Max 1.75 times or a Xiaomi 14 Pro 1.8 times. It comes equipped with an integrated USB-C cable and a USB-C port, enabling the simultaneous charging of two devices. It’s compatible with fast-charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS, and QC 3.0. The maximum output for a single port is 120W; however, when two devices are charged at once, the second port is restricted to 45W, totalling 165W. The power bank itself recharges using a 90W USB-C input, achieving a 55% charge in just 15 minutes. A built-in color display shows the remaining battery level and charging status.
Pricing and Availability
It is still unclear when the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank 10000 (Integrated Cable) will officially be available and in which regions. In China, the price for this accessory is CNY 199 (around $27). If it becomes available in the US, it will compete with products like the Anker Prime 12000mAh Power Bank (130W), which is currently priced at $89.99 on Amazon.
