With Secret Code for Chat Lock, users can now set a unique password that is different from their device password. This password will hide the Locked chats folder from the chat list, rendering it invisible to anyone who is unaware of the code.

The Secret Code can be composed of letters, numbers, special characters, or even an emoji, giving users the freedom to personalize their security measures. To access locked chats, simply enter the secret code into the WhatsApp search bar.
Furthermore, the Secret Code feature offers more flexibility. Users have the option to choose whether they want their locked chats to be completely hidden or still appear in the chat list. The choice is entirely up to them.
Simplified Chat Lock Process
WhatsApp has also made locking a chat much simpler. Users can now lock a chat by long-pressing on it, eliminating the need to navigate through the chat's settings.
