Motorola Moto G35 5G Budget Smartphone Launched in India

Motorola has launched its new budget-friendly smartphone in India, named the Moto G35 5G. This latest entry-level device features a design that’s quite familiar while also offering some enhancements in important areas. For this model, Motorola has opted for the Unisoc chipset instead of the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset that was used in the Moto G34.

    Performance and Specs

The Moto G35 runs on a Unisoc T760 processor, which is combined with a Mali-G57 MC4 GPU. It comes equipped with 4 GB of RAM and has a storage capacity of 128 GB. In terms of software, the phone operates on Android 14 with Motorola’s Hello UI right out of the box. The company has assured users that there will be one OS update (to Android 15) and two years of security updates.

    Display and Cameras

This device features a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display that offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz and can reach a peak brightness of 1000 nits. It also includes a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the camera side, the Moto G35 has a dual rear camera setup that consists of a 50 MP primary camera and an 8 MP ultrawide lens, which is an improvement over the previous model’s 2 MP camera. Additionally, there’s a 16 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

    Battery and Features

The Moto G35 maintains the same battery size as its predecessor, featuring a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging. Other notable features include an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos.

With color options such as Leaf Green, Midnight Black, and Guava Red, the Moto G35 5G is priced starting at INR 9,999 (approximately $117) for the model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It will be available for purchase through Motorola’s official website, Flipkart, and other authorized sellers beginning from December 16th.
