Oppo Pad 3: 9,500mAh Battery & Larger Display Upgrade

Oppo is set to release a new tablet known as the Oppo Pad 3, with its initial launch scheduled for the Chinese market. There is anticipation surrounding whether this tablet will also be introduced to markets beyond China.

    Key Specifications Revealed

Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, has disclosed essential details about the upcoming Oppo Pad 3. The tablet is expected to boast a substantial 9,230mAh battery capacity, likely marketed as 9,500mAh for promotional purposes.

    Enhanced Features and Performance

The Pad 3 is reported to sport a 3K LCD display, possibly larger than its predecessor. Internally, users can anticipate a state-of-the-art Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, along with a generous configuration of up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Previous leaks have hinted at an all-metal construction for the tablet.

    Improvements Over the Previous Model

In comparison, the Oppo Pad 2 houses an 11.61-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The upcoming Pad 3 is speculated to increase the display size to around 12 inches.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is a notable upgrade from the Dimensity 9000 chip found in the Pad 2. While the increase in RAM may seem excessive, it could prove beneficial for multitasking purposes. The Oppo Pad 3 is anticipated to hit the market later this month, so consumers should keep an eye out for further updates.

    Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Specifications.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features one Cortex-X4 prime core running up to 3.3 GHz, five Cortex-A720 performance-focused cores and two Cortex-A520 energy efficient cores each reaching speeds of up to 3.2GHz and 2.3GHz, with Qualcomm touting this chip as being 30% faster and 20% more energy-efficient compared with its predecessor – meaning significant performance enhancement for Pad 3 users over pads 2 with the Dimensity 9000 chipset.
