    Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Redmi Pad Pro 5G to the Indian market on July 29th. This tablet, which was hinted at for a global release earlier in the month, is already on sale in China. Alongside this, the Indian launch will also unveil the Redmi Pad SE 4G. Here’s a closer look at the Redmi Pad Pro 5G.

    Redmi Pad Pro 5G Specifications:

    The device boasts a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, along with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The screen can achieve brightness levels up to 600 nits, supports Dolby Vision, and is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

    Under the hood, the tablet is driven by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor clocked at up to 2.4GHz, coupled with an Adreno 710 GPU. It will be available with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2, expandable up to 1.5TB via microSD card. The operating system is Android 14-based HyperOS.

    Camera and Connectivity:

    Similar to its version in China, the tablet is expected to feature an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. For connectivity, it will likely support 5G with dual SIMs, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ac) on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C 2.0.     Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G Gets Thailand NBTC Certification, Launch Soon

    Earlier this month, it was revealed that Xiaomi is working on a new tablet named the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. We recently shared a live image of this tablet, and it has now been spotted on the NBTC certification website with the model number 24076RP19G.

    The certification confirms the name Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G and suggests that it will be available in Thailand. Previously, this tablet was also listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards website with the model number 24076RP19I. Although the certification doesn’t provide any specification details, an earlier FCC listing indicates that it will run Xiaomi’s Hyper OS 1.0, support dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE, and come with an FM receiver.

    Specifications of the Redmi Pad SE

    This new tablet is expected to be a smaller version of the existing Xiaomi Pad SE, which features an 11″ display. By looking at the specifications of the Redmi Pad SE, we can get an idea of what the upcoming Pad SE 8.7 4G model might offer.
