Tecno recently unveiled teasers for its upcoming foldable smartphones, the Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2. According to the report, the phones will likely be available in Ghana starting September 8. Furthermore, the publication has shared detailed specifications for both models.
Phantom V Fold 2 Key Specifications
Leaked images reveal that the Phantom V Fold 2, with the model number AE10, will come equipped with a 6.45-inch cover screen and a 7.85-inch internal foldable display. Both displays are AMOLED panels supporting 120Hz LTPO technology. The device will feature a front-facing 32-megapixel camera, while the back will house a trio of 50-megapixel cameras: a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a portrait (telephoto) lens. AI features such as Circle to Search, two-way conversion, and call and text summary will be included. Additionally, it will support the Phantom V Pen stylus for various tasks, including note-taking and AI drawing.
Underneath, the Phantom V Fold 2 will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, identical to its predecessor. It will offer 12 GB of RAM, an additional 12 GB of virtual RAM, and 512 GB of storage. The device will also include a 5,750mAh battery, the largest in any foldable phone to date. For comparison, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has a 5,700mAh battery.
