iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ Launches in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

iQOO has launched new gadgets in China today. The Vivo sub-brand introduced a new smartphone, TWS earphones, a smartwatch, and more. The latest phone is the iQOO Neo 9s Pro+, the fourth model in the Neo 9 lineup which already includes standard, pro, and 9s Pro versions. This device is the premium option in the series, featuring a flagship Snapdragon processor while maintaining similar specifications and design as its predecessors.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ Specifications and Features

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ retains the same design as other models in the Neo 9 series. It has a flat frame with dual camera rings on the rear panel. The smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and a 144Hz LTPO refresh rate. It also includes a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen.

The 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 3,399 ($467). The 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB versions are available for CNY 3,299 ($454) and CNY 3,699 ($509) respectively. The highest configuration, which includes 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, is priced at CNY 4,099 (~$564).

Xiaomi Mix Flip Battery Size and Charging Speed Leaked

Xiaomi has recently announced that the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Mix Fold 4 will be launched this month in China. The Mix Flip will be Xiaomi’s inaugural foldable phone with a flip-style design. Both devices are anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A recent leak on Weibo has disclosed details about the phone’s battery capacity and charging features.

Xiaomi Mix Flip Battery Specifications (Rumored)

The Xiaomi Mix Flip, identified by the model number 2405CPX3DC, was listed in China’s 3C certification database in May. This listing indicated that the device might come with a 67W fast charger. The latest leak reveals that the device will be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery and will support 67W fast charging, as shown in the screenshot above.

Comparatively, the only other flip-style foldable phone with a larger battery is the Honor Magic V Flip, which includes a 4,800mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. The Mix Flip will feature the high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, whereas the Magic V Flip uses the older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

A recent report highlighted that the Mix Flip will be available in several configurations: 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. The rear camera setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and a 60-megapixel OmniVision OV60A telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

Realme GT 6 Price Leak: A Strong Rival to OnePlus Ace 3 Pro

Realme is set to launch the Realme GT 6 tomorrow (July 9) in China. Just before the official release, it appears the company has disclosed the phone’s starting price. A screenshot from Taobao (an e-commerce platform) circulating on Weibo shows the starting price at 3,199 Yuan (~$440).

The initial price point for the Realme GT 6 positions it as a competitor to the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, which was introduced last month at the same price. The Ace 3 Pro offers three different configurations in China: 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, and 24GB+1TB.

Currently, the configurations for the base model of the GT 6 haven’t been disclosed. However, rumors suggest that the GT 6 will feature 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. There’s no information yet on when the GT 6 or Ace 3 Pro will be available outside of China.

Recent leaks indicate that the Realme GT 6 will sport a 6.78-inch BOE S1+ screen with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 6,000 nits of brightness. Xu Qi Chase, the Chief Marketing Officer of Realme, unveiled some camera samples from the upcoming Realme GT6 smartphone, which will be launched on July 9 in China. He noted that the device features the same advanced light and shadow image processing algorithm as the Realme GT5 Pro, which debuted in December of last year. Xu Qi shared four images on his official Weibo account. Due to significant compression, the images have a resolution of 690 x 591, making it difficult to evaluate details and noise levels. Nonetheless, the pictures display impressive dynamic range and pleasing colors. One image, capturing a flying bird, indicates that the camera can handle fast-moving subjects well, at least in well-lit conditions.

The phone is equipped with a 50MP main sensor from Sony, possibly the Sony IMX890, according to earlier rumors. This sensor is 1/1.56″ in size with a pixel size of 1.0µm. The main camera also includes OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). It is complemented by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

Honor Magic V3 Camera Samples: See Real-Life Images Now

Honor’s next foldable phone, the Magic V3, is slated for a July 12th release. Real-life photos and camera samples have emerged on Weibo, thanks to tipster WhyLab.

The device is featured in two color options: Orange with a faux leather back and a golden camera frame, and White with a glass panel and a silver-finished camera frame. It will also be available in Black and Green.

Slim Design

The tipster highlighted the phone’s slim profile, both folded and unfolded. When unfolded, the Magic V3 is expected to be the world’s thinnest foldable phone, taking over from the Magic V2, which holds the current record at 9.9mm. This is achieved partly due to a new battery with 10% silicon content, making the Magic V3 4.4% thinner than its predecessor.

Another image demonstrated the minimal crease of the Magic V3. According to the tipster, the crease is barely noticeable during use.
