Xiaomi has launched its newest smart washing machine in China, the Xiaomi MIJIA Essence Wash 10kg, which boasts some remarkable features, including smart drying capabilities.
Advanced Washing Technology
The MIJIA Smart Washing Machine incorporates Essence quick wash technology, allowing it to complete a wash cycle in less than 36 minutes. This innovative technology generates 1.5 times concentrated essence by pre-activating active factors and employs high-pressure direct injection for efficient washing. Compared to traditional washing machines, this new technology reduces washing time by up to 45% and achieves approximately 33% water and 40% electricity savings. Xiaomi claims that the gadget’s wash-to-clean ratio is up to 1:1.
Precision Drying Features
For drying, the machine is equipped with a high-precision sensor that accurately controls the temperature and time in real-time, stopping the process once the clothes are dry. It also offers low-temperature gentle drying, maintaining a precise temperature range between 55°C and 65°C to prevent clothing damage. The high wind speed of 14.5m/s ensures significantly shorter drying times.
Intelligent and Convenient Controls
The washing machine supports dual-channel intelligent delivery, allowing users to remotely schedule laundry and manage programs via the MIJIA App. It is also compatible with XiaoAi voice control, AIoT device interconnection, and XiaoAi speaker voice reminders. Additionally, the machine supports OTA online upgrades for enhanced functionality.
Sleek Design and Efficient Performance
Design-wise, the MIJIA Essence Wash 10kg smart washing machine features an ultra-thin body with a large drum diameter of 525mm. It includes 95℃ high-temperature drum cleaning and door seal spraying features. The direct drive (DD) motor ensures the machine operates quietly and stably.
The new Xiaomi MIJIA smart washing machine, model number XHQG100MJ103, is priced at 2,299 yuan ($318) on JD.com. JD Plus members can purchase it for 2,179 yuan ($301).
