Redmi 14C 5G Specs Leaked on TENAA, Poco M7 5G Gets BIS Cert

The TENAA certification platform in China has given the green light to a new Redmi phone with the model number 2411DRN47C. In June, the device was listed as the "Redmi 14C 5G" in the IMEI database, which also indicated that it will have global, Indian, and Japanese versions with the model numbers 2411DRN47G, 2411DRN47I, and 2411DRN47R respectively. In December 2023, Redmi launched the Redmi 13C 5G and Redmi 13R 5G in China, both featuring similar specifications and designs. While the Redmi 13R came in a single configuration, the Redmi 13C offered multiple options. The TENAA listing for the Redmi 14C 5G hints that it may mirror the recently released 14R.

Rumored Specifications of Redmi 14C 5G

According to the TENAA listing, the Redmi 14C 5G will feature a 6.88-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. It will be powered by a 2.36GHz octa-core processor and a 5,060mAh (rated value) battery. Given that the 14C 5G is likely a rebranded version of the 14R, it may include the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and a 5,160mAh battery with 18W fast charging capability.

The Redmi 14C 5G is expected to come in various configurations of RAM and storage, offering options of 4GB, 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM, along with internal storage choices of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. For photography, the device will feature a 5-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera system with a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 0.08-megapixel secondary sensor.

    Additional Features and Dimensions

Other features of the Redmi 14C 5G will include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot, and an IR blaster. The device is anticipated to run on HyperOS-based Android. Its dimensions will be 171.88 x 77.78 x 8.3mm, and it will weigh 212.3 grams. Despite having a standard-sized battery, the phone’s notable thickness could be attributed to a glass back. Currently, images of the device have not appeared in the TENAA database, but it is likely to resemble the Redmi 14R.

    Potential Poco M7 5G Development

Recently, the Poco M7 5G was seen with the model number 24108PCE2I (Indian variant) in the HyperOS source code. It is worth noting that the Poco M6 5G released in India was essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C 5G and 13R 5G. The model number for the Poco M7, 24108PCE2I, appears alongside the Redmi 14C 5G’s model number, 2411DRN47I, in the Indian BIS certification database. This suggests that the Poco M7 may be another rebranded version of the Redmi 14R or 14C.
