Realme Note 60 Launches in Indonesia: 8GB RAM, 32MP Camera

Realme recently announced the Realme 13 5G series in India. Following this, the company has launched a new phone in the Note series in Indonesia, as anticipated. The Realme Note 60 is the successor to last year’s Note 50, offering modest upgrades at a budget-friendly price. Let’s explore what this device offers.

    Specifications of Realme Note 60

The Realme Note 60 maintains a 6.74-inch display featuring a waterdrop notch and a noticeable chin at the bottom. It supports an HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 560 nits. In terms of design, the phone has a flat frame, with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, and a subtle pattern on the back panel. It boasts an IP64 rating for protection against dust and splashes.

For photography, the Realme Note 60 is equipped with a 32MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, while the front houses a 5MP selfie camera.

    Hardware and Software

Internally, the Realme Note 60 utilizes the same Unisoc T612 octa-core processor found in the Note 50. It offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, along with virtual RAM technology to enhance performance. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It runs on Android 14 OS straight out of the box.

    Pricing and Availability

The Realme Note 60 is priced at IDR 1,399,000 ($90) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The variants with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage are priced at IDR 1,599,000 ($103) and IDR 1,999,000 ($129), respectively. Available in Marble Black and Voyager Blue, the device is already on sale in Indonesia and is expected to reach additional markets soon.

Approximately seven months following the debut of the Note 50, Realme appears to have rolled out its successor, the Note 60, in Indonesia. While the company hasn’t officially announced the release, several Instagram posts from local retailers have disclosed most of the phone’s specifications and confirmed its immediate availability.

    Display and Design

The Note 60 features a 6.74-inch 90Hz IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution, similar to its predecessor. Realme has introduced a “rainwater smart touch” capability, making it easier to operate with wet fingers. Additionally, the phone is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance.

The rear of the device showcases a revamped camera module, including a 32MP main sensor with 10x digital zoom and an unspecified secondary sensor. This primary camera represents an upgrade from the 13MP sensor found in the Note 50. The phone is available in blue and black color options.

    Build and Performance

Remarkably, the Note 60, despite its budget-friendly pricing, features a metal frame, which is an enhancement from the plastic build of the Note 50. The device continues to be powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset, accompanied by either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and storage options of 64GB or 128GB.

A robust 5000mAh battery powers the phone, though charging is limited to a modest 10W speed. For security, the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock via a 5MP front camera.

    Pricing and Availability

In Indonesia, the base model of the Realme Note 60 with 4GB/64GB is priced at Rp 1,399,000 (approximately $90), while the 6GB/128GB variant is listed at Rp 1,599,000 (about $103). Since the phone is already available for purchase, an official announcement from Realme is likely imminent. We will provide updates as they become available.
