Realme C75 Launch: Helio G92 Max Chip & 6000mAh Battery

Realme has introduced the C75 in Vietnam, adding to its affordable C-series lineup. This smartphone emphasizes durability and extended battery life while maintaining a budget-friendly approach, although some important details are still not disclosed.

    Realme C75 Features

The Realme C75 boasts a 6.72-inch IPS LCD screen that offers Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. This device is notably the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G92 Max chipset. While specifics about this chip are scarce, it appears to be an enhanced version of the Helio G91. It remains a 4G-only chipset.

In terms of photography, the C75 comes with a dual-camera arrangement, featuring a 50MP primary sensor. For selfies and video calls, an 8MP front camera is available.

    Build Quality and Durability

The C75 stands out due to its solid construction. According to Realme, the phone includes an “impact-absorbing design” along with ArmorShell Tempered glass that can withstand drops and bumps.

It is also rated at IP69 for dust and water resistance, ensuring it can endure extreme weather conditions and dirty environments. Furthermore, its MIL-STD-810H certification indicates that it offers military-grade shock resistance, adding to its toughness.

    Software and Battery Life

On the software side, the C75 operates on Realme UI 5.0, which is based on the latest Android 14. The phone is powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery, providing exceptional performance for daily tasks. Additionally, it features 45W wired charging for rapid battery replenishment when required.

A unique aspect of the C75 is its reverse charging function. This allows the phone to act as a power bank, enabling users to share its battery with other devices via its USB-C port, making it a handy solution for charging other gadgets while on the move.

    Pricing and Launch Details

Realme has made the C75 available in Vietnam in two color options: Lightning Gold and Black Storm Night. Pricing information is still pending, but given the C-series’ emphasis on being budget-friendly, a competitive price is anticipated.

The company intends to roll out the C75 to additional markets shortly, so keep an eye out for updates regarding availability and pricing in your area.

Realme C75: Upcoming Budget Android Phone with Big Battery Upgrade

Realme has made the 4G/LTE-only variant of the C65 even more appealing, currently priced at €119.90 (~$126) on Amazon.de, by including 45W charging via USB-C. This is a significant upgrade, especially since the 5G version only supports 15W charging.

    Enhanced Features of the C75

The C75 is set to inherit this impressive charging capability, as noted in its recent filings with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and UK regulators. In a stylish and modern approach, it features a battery with a rated capacity of 5,660mAh.

Additionally, the typical capacity is higher at 5,828mAh, which is likely how the C75 (also identified as RMX3941 by Indonesia Telecom and the Thai NBTC) will be marketed. This marks a notable enhancement compared to the C65, which was powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 and only had a basic 5,000mAh battery.

    Design Changes and Software

The new model will transition from the camera design reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S21 to a vertical binocular setup. This design choice may aim to imitate the iPhone 16, similar to what we see with the upcoming Oppo Reno13 series.

However, it’s worth pointing out that the FCC listings indicate that the C75 will run Realme UI 5.0, rather than the latest Android 15-based software that will be featured on the brand’s upcoming GT7 Pro flagship device.
