On January 16, Realme will reveal the Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro+ smartphones in India. Along with these new phones, the company has also confirmed the launch of a new audio accessory, the Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC, which will be introduced together with the Realme 14 Pro series.
Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC: A Quick Look
The Realme Buds Wireless 5 ANC is a fresh neckband that connects via Bluetooth, taking the place of last year’s Buds Wireless 3 ANC. Notably, Realme has chosen to skip the “Buds Wireless 4” name, possibly because the number “4” is seen as unlucky in several Asian cultures. Customers can purchase the Buds Wireless 5 ANC through Realme India’s website, Flipkart, and Amazon.
Features and Specifications
This new neckband is loaded with features aimed at improving user experience. It boasts an impressive battery life of up to 38 hours on a single charge, making it perfect for long listening sessions. The device supports 50dB hybrid active noise cancellation with three adaptive levels, ENC for clearer phone calls, and 400Hz ultra-wideband noise cancellation, providing a distraction-free audio experience. It also has an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring it can withstand different environments.
According to a recent report, the Buds Wireless 5 ANC will be available in three colors: Midnight Black, Dawn Sliver, and Twilight Purple. The same report mentioned that other products like the Buds Wireless 5 Lite, Buds Air 7, and Buds T02 are being developed. It is not yet clear if any of these additional products will launch together with the Realme 14 Pro series.
Upcoming Devices
Last month, Realme introduced the Realme Neo 7 in China, and this device is anticipated to make its way to India in February. However, it is still uncertain if it will keep the Neo 7 name or be renamed to the Realme GT 7T for the Indian audience. Furthermore, some of the mentioned audio products might also be unveiled alongside the Realme Neo 7 / GT 7T.
