Realme has returned to the Pakistani smartphone market after a two-year break with the launch of two new devices – the Realme 12+ and the Realme 12 4G.
The Realme 12+ matches the global variant with its Dimensity 7050 chipset and 5G support, while the Realme 12 4G differentiates itself within the Realme 12 lineup. Here’s a detailed look at its specifications and pricing.
Realme 12 4G Specifications
The Realme 12 4G boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, is protected by unspecified reinforced glass, and includes an under-display fingerprint sensor. A 16MP camera sits in a punch-hole cutout on the front.
The rear of the device houses a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and OIS support, complemented by a 2MP depth sensor.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 685, a 6nm processor with four high-performance Kryo 265 Gold cores (based on Cortex-A73) clocked up to 2.8 GHz, and four power-efficient Kryo 265 Silver cores (based on Cortex-A53) running at up to 1.9 GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM and offers two storage options: 128GB or 256GB.
Additional features include a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion, dual SIM card slots, a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio, dual speakers for stereo sound, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Battery and Charging
The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Realme claims that the phone can reach 50% charge in just 19 minutes and a full charge in 47 minutes. It comes with an even faster 80W charger included in the package.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme 12 4G is available in two storage variants: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. Pricing starts at PKR 60,000 (approximately USD 215, EUR 200, or INR 18,000). The device will be available for purchase on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok, alongside the Realme 12+.
