New Casio Edifice EFB-109D Stainless Steel Watches Arriving Soon

After Casio recently introduced new Edifice and Oceanus models, the brand is now expanding its Edifice EFB-109D collection with two additional watches – the EFB-109D-1AV featuring a black dial, and the EFB-109D-2AV sporting a blue sunburst dial. Both of these models maintain a clean, practical design without any extra frills.

    Specifications and Design

The case dimensions measure 43.5 mm in height, 38.5 mm in width, and 9.2 mm in thickness, all finished in brushed stainless steel. The layout of the dial is very clear, showing hour markers, minute markers, and a date window positioned at 3 o’clock. A second hand is included for the essential purpose of keeping precise time.

    Key Features

A significant aspect of these watches is the sapphire crystal, providing enhanced scratch resistance compared to standard mineral glass. Additionally, the screw-back case contributes to the overall durability of the watch, while its 100-meter water resistance rating makes it ideal for everyday use—suitable for swimming but not for diving.

The watches utilize a quartz movement, which offers an estimated battery life of around three years. There are none of the solar charging, Bluetooth, or smart features typically found in more modern timepieces—just a reliable, classic watch. Some third-party sellers, like Tic Tac Area, have listed the watch for $119 (currently out of stock). However, when these watches are available on Casio’s official site, they are expected to be priced lower.
