    Sound and Connectivity Features

    The Philips H8000E headphones feature 40mm graphene drivers that are regarded as high-quality, similar to the beryllium drivers found in the Moondrop Edge headphones, which can be purchased on Amazon for $79.99. They include active noise cancellation and utilize Bluetooth LE Audio, supporting the LC3 codec and Bluetooth Auracast. Moreover, they are compatible with LDAC and offer Bluetooth Multipoint and Spatial Audio capabilities. Users can customize features like noise cancellation through the Philips Headphones app.

    Controls and Battery Life

    Physical buttons are located on one of the ear cups, allowing users to manage playback, adjust volume, and activate the ANC feature. The Philips H8000E boasts a battery life of up to 50 hours with ANC activated; however, if ANC is deactivated, it can last up to 70 hours. Fast charging is also available, with just a 10-minute charge via USB-C providing as much as 8 hours of playback time.

    Philips has not revealed the exact price for these headphones but has indicated they will be priced in the mid-range segment. Availability is set to be postponed until September 2025, which is quite a long wait for potential buyers. Once they are finally released, they will be sold in Europe, the UK, and the US.

    In other news, Philips has launched a new line of headphones for children, designed for durability and offering up to 45 hours of battery life. They have also introduced two portable clock radios and the M2 Mini HiFi system, which incorporates tuners, amplifiers, and CD players into one unit.

    Meanwhile, Cooler Master has debuted the CH351 Wireless Gaming Headset with 3D sound, a detachable microphone, and a battery life of 30 hours.
