ADATA recently introduced a new power supply called the CORE REACTOR II VE, drawing inspiration from last year's 650W CORE REACTOR II model. The CORE REACTOR II VE is available in three variants – 650W, 750W, and 850W. A similar power output can be found in Cooler Master's recent ATZ 'MAX' case, which includes an integrated power supply.

The dimensions of the CORE REACTOR II VE measure 140 x 150 x 86mm. This product is certified with 80 Plus Gold, ensuring a minimum power efficiency of 80% during operation. Compliant with Intel's latest ATX 3.1 design standards, this PSU guarantees a minimum efficiency of 82% at 20% load, 84% at 50% load, and 86% at 100% load. It also features a 12V-2×6 connector for modern graphics cards.
The XPG CORE REACTOR II VE utilizes a DC-DC system to directly convert power to the required output voltage, thereby enhancing efficiency. It maintains ripple levels below 60mV at +12V and below 40mV at +5V and +3.3V, contributing to improved system performance.
In case of power shortages, the CORE REACTOR II VE can sustain power for up to 15ms, meeting Intel's standard for uninterrupted power delivery. This ensures stable operation even in challenging circumstances. Additionally, it offers 8 industrial protections, including OVP, UVP, OCP, SCP, OPP, among others.
Equipped with a 120mm FDB fan capable of reaching 2400 RPM, this power supply ensures efficient cooling. ADATA has not yet disclosed the pricing details for the XPG CORE REACTOR II VE PSU, and further updates will be provided once available.
