DisplaySpecifications has found what looks like a new gaming monitor from LG called the UltraGear. Recently, LG has been promoting its latest OLED technology that uses updated WOLED panels. However, it seems the company also has a more affordable choice ready for gamers.
Features and Performance
The UltraGear 27G850A is designed to provide a 4K resolution with a refresh rate of 240 Hz on its 27-inch Nano IPS display. Similar to last year’s UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE (currently priced at $1,196.99 on Amazon), the 27G850A includes LG’s Dual Mode feature, allowing it to output a 1080p image at a whopping 480 Hz on a smaller screen.
In addition, this monitor offers a rapid 1 ms GtG response time, with color coverage of 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 86.6% Adobe RGB, along with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification. According to the image shown, LG has provided a combination of HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-A ports, as well as a DisplayPort 2.1 and a 4-pole headphone jack.
Release Information
As per DisplaySpecifications, LG is expected to launch the UltraGear 27850A in both Europe and the United States shortly. However, the website hasn’t shared a specific release date, and we couldn’t find any additional information online. Interestingly, DisplaySpecifications has also spotted a new 34-inch UltraGear OLED model that may be coming soon, which we have discussed in a different article.
