    Two months back, OnePlus introduced the Nord CE 4 globally. Now, the brand is set to unveil a Lite variant of this phone, named the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G. A microsite showcasing the design of the upcoming model has been launched by OnePlus. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the smartphone will be available on Amazon in India. This new device will be the successor to last year’s Nord CE 3 Lite 5G.

    The launch date for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is June 24 at 7 pm IST. OnePlus has expressed that this new model aims to revolutionize the budget smartphone sector, addressing common everyday concerns of smartphone users.

    The Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will share the same design as the Nord CE 4 (review). However, it will not feature an alert slider; instead, it has a SIM tray slot on the left and power and volume rocker buttons on the right. The phone boasts a flat frame design and a pill-shaped camera module. The microsite reveals a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera along with a secondary lens whose details are yet to be disclosed. The Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will come in a Mega Blue color option.

    OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will sport a 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,100 nits, a notable upgrade from the LCD panel and 550 nits peak brightness of its predecessor. The phone will also feature Aquatouch technology, enabling interaction with wet hands, a feature also present in the Nord CE 4 and the premium OnePlus 12 series. The new model will be powered by a 5,500mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 5W reverse charging.
